JOIN CHAMPLAIN AREA TRAILS IN A WORKING HIKE AT THE ESSEX QUARRY NATURE PRESERVE ON FRIDAY, JUNE 28TH AT 9 AM. Join Champlain Area Trails in working in our nature preserve in Essex, New York. We will be tackling invasive plants and clearing up 1.5 miles of trails. WHAT TO BRING: We will work with loppers, hand saws, and string trimmers, which Champlain Area Trails can provide. Feel free to bring your tools as well. Make sure to bring gloves, protective eye gear (if using a string trimmer), water, and some snacks! DIRECTIONS: We will meet at the parking lot off Lakeshore Road. REGISTRATION: Please register by 6:00 p.m. the day before the event by emailing tony@champlainareatrails.com, but it's also okay to meet us there Friday at noon.
