The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) will host their Annual Ticonderoga Area Community Appreciation Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, October 23^rd, 2025 at 6:00 PM. The complimentary dinner and awards ceremony will be held at the Knights of Columbus in Downtown Ticonderoga, located at 103 Montcalm Street.

The dinner and awards ceremony are an opportunity to recognize all area businesses, organizations, and volunteers as well as the 2025 “Business of the Year,” “Organization of the Year,” “Chamber Volunteer of the Year,” “Community Volunteer of the Year,” and give out several TACC Appreciation Awards.

Nominations for the 2025 Business of the Year, Organization of the Year, Chamber Volunteer of the Year, Community Volunteer of the Year, and TACC Appreciation Awards are now being accepted. In 2024, awards were given to businesses, organizations, committees, and individuals, who not only support the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce, but give of themselves for the betterment of the Ticonderoga Area and the community. At last year’s event, the recipient of the Business of the Year Award was DeFranco’s Landscaping, Inc., Organization of the Year was awarded to North Country Community College, Chamber Volunteer of the Year was awarded to Rikki Galusha & Shylah Granger, and the Community Volunteer of the Year award was given to Nathan Belanger. TACC Appreciation Awards were presented to The Lemonade Stand Kids, Jessica Andreassen Harris, Denise Huestis, Fox & Fern – American Mercantile, Huddy & Co./Small Town Boutique, Pam Lemza Putnam, Silver Bay YMCA, Snug Harbor Marina, Sun Community News, Joe & Alicia Vilardo, & Dan Whitford. Special Recognition Awards were given to Decker’s Flats Greenhouse, Joe Bodette & Karen Hennessy, Marianne Rapple, Tim Stocker & George Mackey.
