The Town of Crown Point in coordination with the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC), invites the community to celebrate the completion of accessibility and park enhancements at Veterans Memorial Park with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 6:30 PM prior to Crown Point Market & Music Series.

The recent improvements include a new ADA-accessible pathway, accessible seating and picnic amenities, and additional park enhancements that create a more welcoming and inclusive space for residents and visitors of all ages and abilities. These upgrades make it easier for everyone to enjoy the park’s recreational opportunities, community events, concerts, and gatherings.

“We are excited to celebrate this important milestone for our community,” said Walt Worth, Crown Point Town Board Member. “These improvements are about ensuring Veterans Memorial Park is a place where everyone can gather, participate, and enjoy everything the park has to offer. It has been rewarding to see this vision become a reality, and we look forward to continuing to enhance this valuable community space for years to come.”

Community members, local officials, businesses, organizations, and visitors are encouraged to attend the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and help celebrate this exciting addition to Veterans Memorial Park.
