Join the Lake George Land Conservancy for our Living Lands summer presentation series. Each week, we will take an exclusive and up-close look at the people, history, and wildlife of the lands of Lake George and the Adirondacks, past and present. This week will be focused on beekeeping. Join Cindy from the Southern Adirondack Beekeeping Association to learn all about the amazing honey bee. Cindy will cover all of the basics on why you should become a beekeeper, basic equipment, what beekeepers do, and go over a demo of a hive inspection.
