Join the Lake George Land Conservancy for our Living Lands summer presentation series. Each week, we will take an exclusive and up-close look at the people, history, and wildlife of the lands of Lake George and the Adirondacks, past and present. This week will be focused on the turtles found in the Adirondacks. Get a glimpse into the fascinating lives of freshwater turtles, their unique history and anatomy, and the challenges turtles face even within the Adirondack Park. Meet our native ambassador turtles and find out what you can do to make sure we have turtles to love for generations to come.
