Description
Join Crown Point Historic Site on Saturday, August 26th at 2 PM for a Guided Fossil Tour. The limestone ledge that forms the Crown Point Peninsula is rich with fossil deposits from the Ordovician period, and shapes and traces of ancient creatures are still visible today. The tour will be led by Crown Point State Historic Site's very own Steil, a Middlebury College intern, a specialist in Ordovician fossils, and a welcome and essential member of the Crown Point team this season!
