JOIN US FOR A CATSWOMEN HIKE OF COOPER KILN POND ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH, AT 10 AM. CATSWomen is a volunteer-led hiking group. This group of women - of all ages and abilities! - creates a safe and encouraging space for female hikers to become more confident in their outdoor adventuring. Between Morgan Mountain and Wilmington Peak, Cooper Kiln Pond is a must-see destination for nature enthusiasts. The trail leading to the pond spans 2.6 miles and offers a challenging yet rewarding hike, as it involves a considerable elevation gain and potential wet conditions. Upon reaching the pond, hikers will be rewarded with stunning views at an elevation of 3,005 feet, having gained 860 feet from the primary trailhead. We’ll turn around at the pond for a total of 5.2 miles, making it a perfect day trip for those looking to appreciate the beauty of nature.
