CATS Women is a volunteer-led hiking group. This group of women - of all ages and abilities! - creates a safe and encouraging space for female hikers to become more confident in their outdoor adventuring. Embark on an exhilarating journey as we conquer a challenging 8.7-mile hike in the Jay Mountain Wilderness Area. With each step, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking open ridge views of both the High Peaks and the Green Mountains. The trail may present some moderate, steady climbing for approximately 1 and a half hours, but once you reach the mixed hardwood and conifer forest, you'll only have 30 more minutes before reaching the open ridge. At the end of the trail lies the east end of the ridge, where adventurers can bask in the stunning views that consistently change around every turn. With hiking poles as your trusty aid, you'll be ready to conquer whatever challenges come your way. THERE IS A CAP OF 15 PARTICIPANTS TO JOIN THIS HIKE!
