September After Business Mixer at The Heritage Museum 
Door Prize Sponsors: Bridge Point Communication, Wagon Wheel Restaurant, Lake George Land Conservancy, Fort Ticonderoga & Spic-N-Span.In conjunction with the September After Business Mixer, the Heritage Museum will present a Soft Opening of their newest exhibit, “Once Upon the River”, highlighting the 19^th century industrial era community where every business was dependent on the La Chute waters that cascaded down a series of waterfalls.  This exhibit highlights the handcrafted models which recreate in miniature and exact detail the mills, forges and factories that developed along the LaChute River. 
 
“Dedicated to expanding our educational offerings, the Heritage Museum formed a committee three years ago to develop this exhibit, naming it “Once Upon the River”, stated Trustee June Curtis. “We named it in reverence to Denise Huestis, a Heritage Museum Trustee and artist who created these exquisite models and authored a book by the same name.”
