JOIN CHAMPLAIN AREA TRAILS IN SUPPORTING THE ADK GARDEN CLUB THROUGH VOLUNTEERING ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27TH AT 10 A.M.
This project is in the beautiful Essex Quarry Nature Preserve, owned by Champlain Area Trails. Come join the ADK Garden Club in tackling the invasive species threatening the area and learning natural ways to manage them. Come join a special ADK Garden Club event of collecting seeds in preparation for sowing this winter. Work alongside two botanists and learn more about the plants in this area! All that is needed are scissors, clippers, and a marking pen?
DIRECTIONS: We will meet at the Essex Quarry Nature Preserve in Essex, NY.
REGISTRATION: Please register by emailing Nancy Budd at budd.ann3@gmail.com, or just show up at the Quarry Friday morning.
