Coming south from Walker Road\, this trail passes by an amazing series of beaver ponds and goes through diverse woodlands before getting to a small stream crossing. It then enters a white pine forest before getting to an open meadow at the end of Ferris Road. We will focus on putting in posts for better signage. We will also tackle Honeysuckle along the way. WHAT TO BRING: We will be working with loppers and hand saws\, which Champlain Area Trails can provide. Feel free to bring your own tools as well. Make sure to come with appropriate footwear for the weather\, and bring gloves\, water\, and some snacks!\n\n\n\nDIRECTIONS: We will meet at the trailhead on Walker Rd 1 mile west of Rt 22 in Whallonsburg.\n\n\n\nREGISTRATION: Please register by 6:00 p.m. the day before the event by emailing tony@champlainareatrails.com\, but it's also okay to meet us there Friday at noon.
