This event will highlight Ticonderoga's place on Lake Champlain as a supply and naval base through participants rowing to and from Ticonderoga as a fleet of bateaux and vignettes throughout the weekend.\nAugust 29th 2:00 p.m. to Dusk: Continental Army Encampment (Hague Beach)\n\nWitness the Northern Continental Army camp on their way to Fort Ticonderoga as Connecticut Soldiers assembled for the invasion of Canada. Meet General Richard Montgomery and discover the difficulty of launching this monumental expedition down the lakes.\n\n \n\nAugust 30th at Dawn: Onward to Ticonderoga! (Hague Beach)\n\nWitness the moment General Richard Montgomery assembles his troops for their last push to Fort Ticonderoga. Follow Continental Army soldiers to the shores of Lake George as they load into bateau and begin their push down to the landing at Ticonderoga. \n\n \n\nAugust 30th 10:00 a.m. The Continental Army arrives at Ticonderoga!\n\nWitness the Continental Army march down the portage road on their way to encamp at Fort Ticonderoga! See soldiers weary from their row march behind Brigadier General Richard Montgomery and Major General Philip Schuyler sitting proud on their horses. Witness the power of oxen as the army's equipment rolls in wagons and carts behind them. Cheer this Army of liberty on as they head down Lake Champlain to push the British Army out of Canada
