Under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.\n\nGyotaku (Gee-o-ta-koo) is the Japanese art form of fish printing. It was developed for fishermen to keep record of the fish they caught. Merribeth will provide an introduction to the art form of gyotaku and will demonstrate the printing process. Using acrylic paint and a rubber animal forms\, participants will print a fish\, frogs\, or a turtle on fabric.\n\nPlease bring a piece of fabric to print on: tee-shirt\, tote bag\, apron\, pillow case\, etc. Best if prewashed with no fabric softener. Dress to mess! \n\nMaterials are provided.
