DESCRIPTION:Penfield Homestead Museum will host their Heritage Day and Annual Chicken Barbecue on Sunday\, August 21st from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. \n\nEcumenical Services at the Penfield Church begin at 9:30 am.\n\nPlan on a Craft Fair including local authors and their books\, a Snack Shack for beverages and desserts\, a Civil War Morgan Horse- Oak with LTC Chris Heidorf  of Dead Creek Ranch. The 77th NY Regimental Balladeers will perform a concert at 1:00 pm in the Penfield Church saluting Ulysses S. Grant's 200th Birthday. Of course\, the Famous Chicken Barbecue begins serving at 1:00 pm and will continue until 2:30 pm which includes 1/2 chicken\, corn\, baked potato and roll and butter.  Servings are $15 per plate and only 300 barbecue tickets are available.  To purchase tickets\, or for information on crafter space\, contact 518.597.3804.
