DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wanted to explore more\, but aren't sure you have the right skills? Join DEC licensed guide and Wilderness First Responder Sarah Frasier for a walk and talk workshop at Last Great Shoreline Preserve\, where she will introduce basic navigation skills\, wilderness first aid\, and survival skills to give you more confidence on the trails.\n\n\n\nAll ages welcome.\n\n\n\nSuggested Gear:\n\nSturdy sneakers or hiking boots that are comfortable & meant for hiking.\n\nSunglasses\n\nSnacks & Water\n\n\n\nGuide will have a med kit and emergency supplies while on the hike. No bathrooms will be available\, please plan accordingly. All participants will be required to fill out a waiver prior.
