DESCRIPTION:JOIN US ON SATURDAY\, FEBRUARY 24TH AT 10 AM AT SOPHIE'S LAIR TRAIL AN INTRO TO SNOWSHOE OUTING\n\n\n\nJoin us for a family-friendly guided winter walk along the Florence Hathaway and Sophie's Lair trail system. The trail is of medium length and passes through various terrains\, including an open hardwood forest and a small creek. Before entering the trails\, we will start in an open field where we will provide an introduction to snowshoeing basics. This outing is perfect for those who want to gain more experience in the winter woods.\n\n\n\nWHAT TO BRING: Dress in good winter layers for walking through the snow. We will have snowshoes to use for the event\, but you are welcome to bring your own equipment as well.\n\n\n\nDIRECTIONS: The trailhead is on Essex Road in Willsboro\, out of Florence Hathaway Park.\n\n\n\nREGISTRATION: There is limited space.
