Gilligan Trail Lewis: West Valley Trail Chesterfield: Poke-o-moonshine Crown Point: Penfield Pond Ticonderoga: Cook Mountain Peru: Little Ausable River Trail Saranac: New Land Trust Plattsburgh: Point Au Roche Trails.\n\n\n\nCold-weather hiking can be a lot of fun if you are well-prepared. Here are some tips to help you enjoy your hike: - Dress in layers to regulate your body temperature. - Wear a hat to keep your head warm and prevent heat loss. - Keep your water bottle warm to prevent it from freezing. - Wear sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun's glare reflecting off the snow. - Be aware of shorter daylight hours and always carry a headlamp or flashlight. - Bring plenty of water and snacks to stay hydrated and energized.\n\n\n\nDepending on the weather conditions\, you can go for a winter walk\, snowshoeing\, or even cross-country skiing.
