Bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it!\n\nProgramming will run from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.\n\n \n\nTo register\, please email names\, time\, and walk to lisa.polay@parks.ny.gov or visit https://www.ptny.org/events/i-love-my-park-day.\n\n \n\nSchedule of Events:\n\n             \n\nLeave No Trace: Take Action to Protect the Outdoors (30 minutes)   10:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m.\n\nThis workshop will provide you with a better understanding of recreation-related impacts\, the Seven Principles and how Leave No Trace skills and ethics can help protect the outdoor places we love. \n\no            Meeting Location: West field behind British fort (Follow signs)\n\no            Limited to 12 participants. Participants must wear masks and maintain social distancing\n\n             \n\nTree Identification Walking Tour (45 minutes)   11 a.m. & 2 p.m.\n\nJoin a DEC Forester for a walk through the Crown Point State Historic Site and learn how to identify common trees in the area.\n\n	Meeting Location: West field behind British fort (Follow signs)\n	Limited to 12 participants. Participants must wear masks and maintain social distancing\n\n \n\nUntold Histories at Crown Point Walking Tour (45 min)   12 p.m. & 3 p.m.\n\nCrown Point State Historic Site is recognized both at the state and federal level for its historic and landmark status as a European military stronghold. Join the site manager while discovering lesser known   but impactful - features on the site\, ranging from the mid-19th century to present day\, which tell the stories of the economic\, cultural and natural importance of this place to Lake Champlain\, the Adirondacks and beyond.\n\no            Meeting Location: Picnic Pavilion\n\no            Limited to 12 participants. Participants must wear masks and maintain social distancing.
