Typically valued at hundreds of dollars\, this certification training will help contractors meet the qualification requirements for working on construction projects funded through the NYS Office of Housing and Community Renewal\, specifically those built prior to 1978 that contain lead.\n\nCertification by the Environmental Protection Agency is mandatory for any contractor involved in such projects\, and the training provided in this eight hour class will certify individuals for a period of five years. The workshop will cover various topics\, including lead issue awareness\, safe work practices\, and techniques for mitigating lead contamination in construction projects. \n\n\n\nSPACE IS LIMITED - Contact the PRIDE office to secure your spot before July 14th. Pre-registration is mandatory!\n\n\n\nA complimentary lunch will also be provided.
