PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION: In support of Fort Ticonderoga’s commitment to preserve and educate, Music Interpreters are fulltime seasonal interpreters who musically portray fifers and drummers in the various armies of the Seven Years War and American Revolution, as they relate to the history of Fort Ticonderoga. This supervisor must be capable in all aspects of living history programming, research, writing, & logistical support. Exhibition Interpreters will be especially important during the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, which Fort Ticonderoga will commemorate through new exhibitions and public programs.
