LOCAL FOOD EDUCATOR:
We are looking for a Local Food Educator who will deliver educational programming to adults and youth in the areas of local foods and agriculture under the supervision of the Community Vitality Senior Team Leader. This position will be responsible for leading local agriculture and farm-to-school programming and activities for youth and their families during the school year and through farmers’ market educational outreach during the summer months. The Local Food Educator will provide an educational curriculum for foods being served in school meal programs. This position will also lead the summer Power of Produce (POP) Club using an established curriculum and assist with the development of local food guides and calendars, public outreach, and communications, and will oversee volunteers in the program.

This is a full-time non-exempt position - 100% FTE, 37.5 hours per week at an hourly rate of $23.25/hour. This position, based on eligibility, offers a comprehensive benefit package, including health and dental insurance, retirement, vacation, sick and personal leave.
