Ticonderoga Area Farmer's Market
Description
The 2013 Ticonderoga Area Farmers' Market sponsored by the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce in coordination with Inter-Lakes Health. will take place on The market is a NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets FMNP approved market accepting checks/coupons.
A youth market has been added and will take place on July 13th, 20th & 27th as well as August 3rd, 10th & 17th. The youth market is being implemented as part of a Girl Scout Gold Award project. Becky Barber from Ticonderoga is taking the lead and has been working with the Chamber, Essex County Public Health/Creating Healthy Places, Nadeau's Greenhouse and the Ticonderoga Community Garden at the First United Methodist Church. Youth are growing produce as well purchasing local produce which they will then be selling at the market.
