Description
Ticonderoga Federal Credit Union to Host Shred Fest
Free Shredding will be offered at the following TFCU locations during event hours:
Elizabethtown Branch: Noon - 2:30 PM
Port Henry Branch: 3:00 - 5:00 PM
Documents will be shredded on site in a mobile shredding truck. Paper, folders, envelopes, check registers, paper bound by staples, paperclips and spiral binding can be shredded, however documents bound with metal binder clips and binders cannot.
In exchange for the free service, TFCU asks participants to please bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the local food pantries. In addition to food items collected at the event, all of the shredded paper will be recycled and the proceeds from the recycling will be donated to food pantries in Ticonderoga, Moriah and Elizabethtown.
