“First there was Black Friday. Then Cyber Monday. Now there is Small Business Saturday.” Support Ticonderoga Area businesses on Saturday, November 29th, 2025, for the 16th Annual Small Business Saturday, kicking off the 16th Annual Ticonderoga Area North Country Christmas Celebration. The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) continues to participate in this nationwide initiative as an official Neighborhood Champion via American Express, providing resources and support to area businesses while encouraging the community to shop local. Small Business Saturday falls on Thanksgiving weekend, between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, when most holiday shopping begins.
Join the festivities as participating businesses offer a variety of specials and promotions to celebrate the day and showcase the value of shopping local and supporting our community. Pick up a Small Business Saturday Passport for a chance to win great prizes while exploring local shops and eateries. Enjoy lively tunes from DJ Dan Whitford, performing from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in front of the TACC office, where he’ll also be giving away gift cards to local participating businesses, courtesy of the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership. Come out, shop local, and celebrate community spirit.
To access the Small Business Saturday promotions and specials, you must have the 2025 TACC Small Business Saturday Specials & Promotions flyer. For a list of participating businesses contact the Chamber, visit www.ticonderogany.com, or the TACC Facebook page.
Be sure to get your Small Business Saturday Passport from participating businesses or the Chamber as well. If you complete your passport by making purchases at 5 participating businesses (obtain stamps or signatures), you can then return your passport to the Chamber office by December 12th, 2025 for a chance to win a variety of local prizes. Be sure to write your name and phone number on your passport. Additional details will be included on the Small Business Saturday passport.
“The Chamber and our local businesses are proud to continue our long-standing participation in Small Business Saturday as part of the North Country Christmas celebration. Each year, this event grows in impact and spirit, bringing our community together in meaningful ways. When you choose to shop, dine, and support local, you’re investing directly in the people, places, and businesses that make the Ticonderoga Area thrive. Small Business Saturday is more than a shopping day, it’s a celebration of community, entrepreneurship, and the heart of our local economy. This initiative aligns perfectly with our ongoing “Think Local” campaign, Think Local! Shop! Spend! Support! Your Community - Your Future! We encourage everyone to be part of this movement, make a difference this holiday season, and continue supporting our local businesses during Holiday Shopping & Dining Night on Friday, December 5th,” stated Matthew Courtright, President & CEO of the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce.
Created by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday has grown into a movement that celebrates and supports small businesses across the country. It is the local community organizers, small business owners, and customers who make it one of the busiest and most meaningful shopping days of the year. Small businesses are the heartbeat of our communities: the corner stores that create jobs, the restaurants and retailers that help build our economy, and the mom-and-pop shops whose presence makes our neighborhoods unique. The Shop Small Movement inspires people to support these businesses and give back to the places that have given so much to their communities. Join us on November 29th and make a big impact by shopping small in the Ticonderoga Area.
The Chamber encourages everyone to support Ticonderoga Area businesses all year long.
