Pat's devotion to acoustic guitar has made him an American standard , as he echoes the tones of Robert Johnson, Blind Blake, Merle Travis or Muddy Waters. Chet Atkins called Pat one of the greatest fingerpickers in the world today, Leo Kottke called his playing "haunting." A house concert is the opportunity for a local audience to see and hear a national touring artist in an intimate setting in exchange for a relatively small stipend. A donation of $10-15, which all goes to the performer, is recommended. Refreshments will be served. Please bring a chair, blanket and BYOB.
