The Ticonderoga campus of North Country Community College will host a Black History Month event on Wednesday, February 25th at 5:30pm. The event is a collaboration with North Country Underground Railroad Historical Association. (NCUGRHA) “The North Country Underground Railroad Historical Association researches, preserves and interprets the history of the Underground Railroad, slavery and abolition along the Upper Hudson River-Champlain and Canal-Lake Champlain corridor of northeast New York.”
The event is free and open to the public and will include a slideshow and refreshments. All are welcome and encouraged to participate.
