The Lake George Land Conservancy is celebrating its 25th Anniversary with a hiking extravaganza on July 5th. They're hiking at nine locations simultaneously-YOU choose where you want to be! Locations are all around Lake George and vary in trail difficulty and length. All participants will receive an event t-shirt and certificate, and be part of group photos taken by Carl Heilman from a helicopter as it flies to each site. The nine sites being, Cat Mountain, Thomas Mountain, Cook Mountain Preserve, Last Great Shoreline Preserve, Amy's Park, Schumann Preserve at Pilot Knob, Berry Pond Preserve, Gull Bay Preserve, and Peggy's Point ( NON-HIKING Site) For more information and to register, visit www.lglc.org, or call 518-644-9673.
