The Fun fest will begin at 10 a.m. and continue to 4 p.m. in the Hague Town Park on Route 9N, with the Cambridge Band playing a concert at 12:30 p.m. Exhibitors and vendors will include Upyonda farms, Penelope the clown, WOKO radio personality Steve Pelkey, crafters, jewelry, spices and white elephant gift table.
There will also be games for the family, face painting, bouncy house and slide. Food concessions will be offered by local organizations and include hot dogs, burgers, soft drinks, baked goods, and more.
The annual Memorial Day parade will take place at 2 p.m., starting on Route 8 and proceeding to the town park. A number of bands, floats, clowns and classic cars will be displayed in the parade, with prizes for best in parade, most creative, most patriotic, best Adirondack, most humorous, best youth, honorable mention adult and youth. Winners to be announced at memorial service.
Those interested in marching or putting a float in are asked to contact Mike Cherubini at 543-6463.
At 3 p.m., the annual memorial dedication service will be honoring Vietnam War heroes, led by James O’Toole, Brigadier General, US Army - retired.
The event is sponsored by the senior citizen club and sanctioned by the Hague Town Board.
