Roger’s Rangers, 1758 New York and 1759 Connecticut Provincial Coats
Join Fort Ticonderoga Director of Interpretation, Stuart Lilie, to examine and build one of two
styles of French and Indian War provincial coats. In this two-day tailoring workshop, build your

New York Provincial soldiers in 1758. Alternately, build one of the red coats turned-up with
yellow, purchased by Connecticut provincial soldiers with a bonus authorized in 1759. Workshop
includes coat wool, lining, sewing thread, needles, wax, instruction, & lunch.
