Description

The public is invited to take a once-ever packaged progressive drive-yourself tour of the remarkable museums located within ten miles of the Lake Champlain Bridge. The sampler tour ends with a buffet lunch in a classic 89-year old diner, all included in the price of the tour ticket. During the after-tour lunch, a game-style history museum quiz will be offered in the 1927 vintage diner at Port Henry. Maps and directions will be provided for each driver, so that tour goers can easily drive from museum to museum. Tickets may be reserved by sending a check, for $30 per person, postmarked no later than Sept 9, to the President of the Friends group at: Tom Hughes, 126 Charles Avenue, Middlebury VT 05753. Checks must be payable to "Friends of Crown Point S.H.S." Tour space is limited to 35 people; the public is encouraged but not required to pre-register; walk-ups will be welcome, space permitting. This sampler tour progresses from one indoor location to the next, so it will go forward rain or shine.
