Join us in exploring Mushrooms on the black kettle trail, on Saturday, September 13th, AT 10:00 AM. Join us for an exciting mushroom foraging workshop led by fungi expert Ari Rockland-Miller. We will walk the Black Kettle Trail, a one-mile loop trail that goes through an open, mature forest, passes by a beautiful forest brook, and even has some fantastic views across the valley. Discover what gourmet and medicinal mushrooms can be found in this local forest. This is a great entry point into the endlessly intriguing world of mushroom foraging! This is a beginner-level outing. REGISTRATION: This event is ticketed, and attendance is capped at 20 individuals. The cost is $30 per person, paid directly to the mushroom expert Ari. Visit our website to register with the provided link. TIME: Meet at the trailhead by 9:50 am for a 10:00 am start. This event will last 2 hours. What To Bring: Prepare for late summer conditions by bringing the following essentials: -Clothing appropriate for the sun and potentially bugs - Shoes that can get wet and muddy - Plenty of water DIRECTIONS AND PARKING: Park by the trailhead on Cook Road.
