DESCRIPTION:HalloweenFest 2024 Happy Halloween!\n \n\nTiconderoga\, NY September 23\, 2024 - The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) and the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership (TMSP) are pleased to announce the schedule of events for HalloweenFest from October 18th to October 31st\, 2024. The yearly Halloween celebration has expanded in several ways and the committee is hoping to continue the growth for the community and visitors. \n \n\nFriday\, October 18th\n\n6:30 - 8:30 PM: Halloween Movie "Hocus Pocus" - Downtown Ticonderoga\n\nFree movie at the Ticonderoga Area Farmers Market location behind Glens Falls National. Bring your camp chair or blanket. Popcorn & beverages provided. Free event by Ticonderoga Elks\, Peak Force Cheer & That's RAD!!\n \n\n8:00 - 11:00 PM: Haunted House - Silver Bay YMCA\n\nSomething spooky is going on inside Paine Hall when the sun goes down. Grab a buddy & come see what all the spookiness is about. This event will also take place on October 4th\, 11th and 25th.\n\n.\n\nTuesday\, October 22nd\n\n3:30 - 5:30 PM: Pumpkin Decorating - North Country Community College\, Ticonderoga Campus\n\nDecorate a pumpkin\, grab some refreshments & enjoy some Halloween fun. Free event by NCCC & the Student Government Association.\n \n\n4:00 - 6:00 PM: Mountain Lake Services Trunk-or-Treat - Mountain Lake Consignment\n\nFree Trick or Treating for youth of all ages at Mountain Lake Consignment in Port Henry. Come in your favorite Halloween attire. \n \n\nWednesday\, October 23rd\n\n4:30 PM: TMSP Chicken BBQ - Ticonderoga Knights of Columbus\n\n$15 per person includes 1/2 chicken\, baked potato\, coleslaw\, roll & dessert. Cash Bar\, dine-in or take out. \n\nCall the K of C at 518-585-6520 to reserve. To benefit Downtown Ticonderoga events.\n \n\nThursday\, October 24th\n\n8:00 11:00 PM: Zombie Hike - Silver Bay YMCA\n\nThis event will also take place on October 3rd\, 10th\, 17th\, and 31st.\n \n\nFriday\, October 25th\n\n5:30 PM: Haunted History Tour - Crown Point State Historic Site\n\nDrownings\, shadowy figures in the barracks\, & sea monster sightings. Hear all about them as you follow a storyteller on a twilight walk through the historic site. Cider & donuts at 5:30 PM. Tour at 5:45 PM. Free event. Rain date October 30th. \n \n\n5:30 - 7:00 PM: Monster Mash - Ticonderoga Elementary School\n\nGrades Pre-K - 6th welcome. Boo basket raffles\, music\, games & costume prizes. $5/person. \n\nAll children must be accompanied by an adult. To benefit Ticonderoga PTO.\n \n\n7:00 PM: "How I Became a Ghost"- Hancock House\, LARCH \n\nOur annual Halloween program takes a whole new approach to fright as we hear first-hand from the spirits of the undead who have agreed to come together and tell their stories of how they "became a ghost." Free event by the LARCH.\n \n\n7:00 - 9:30 PM: Teen Halloween Dance - Silver Bay YMCA Ticonderoga Teen Center\n\nFree & open to any registered teens. Music\, a photo booth\, & snacks. Costumes are encouraged. \n \n\n8:00 PM: Halloween Party - Employees Mutual Association\n\nDress up in your costume & join the EMA for a spooky night out! Entertainment by Hodgepodge\n \n\nSaturday\, October 26th\n\n10:00 AM: Harvest Halloween Festival and Fright Nights at the Farm - Hunter Way Farm \n\n10 AM-3:30 PM: Annual Harvest Halloween Festival\, 3 PM: Halloween Costume Contest Parade\, 3:30-6:30 PM: Kids Meet & Greet Festival ($7 per child)\, 6:30 PM: Kids Movie\, 7 -11 PM: Scary Trail (also on October 25th)\, & 11 PM: Horror Movie.\n \n\n11:00 AM: Hocus Pocus Magic Show - Ticonderoga Community Building\n\nChildren & families are invited to join the Ticonderoga Festival Guild for a fun-filled family Halloween \n\nthemed magic show at the Ticonderoga Community Building\, LaChute Hall. Free event by the Ticonderoga Festival Guild.\n \n\n11:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Hague Trunk-or-Treat - Hague Fire House\n\nFree Trick or Treating for youth of all ages. There will also be a scavenger hunt. Dress your trunk for best of show.\n \n\n1:00 PM: Halloween Children's Storytime - Black Watch Memorial Library \n\nChildren & families are invited to join for a reading of "Creepy Carrots" and design your own Halloween cookie. Free event. \n \n\n6:30 - 8:30 PM: Pumpkin Walk & Campfire - Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park\n\nJack-O-Lanterns will be displayed around the park for all to enjoy. Pumpkins from farmers will be carved by local schools & the community. Hot Cider & treats available for purchase. Campfire & s'mores. Free event by the Ticonderoga Natural Foods Co-Op\, TACC\, & TMSP.\n \n\n7:00 9:00 PM: Haunted Trail - Ticonderoga Elementary School Nature Trail\n\nAdmission is $7 for adults and $5 for students. Montcalm Street will be closed from Sunshine Laundry to the Heritage Museum (3:05 PM until 5:15 PM). Enjoy Halloween music and fun in front of the Chamber of Commerce Office. No rain date.
