DESCRIPTION:ServSafe Training is being offered to Ticonderoga Area restaurants\, dining facilities\,convenience stores\, and institutional providers of meals. This training is for TACC Members at a greatly discounted price. TACC is organizing this training in coordination with North Country Community College and Susan Alexander\, ServSafe Trainer. The training will be 8 hours and be held on Wednesday\, May 1st. The training is a combination of a comprehensive power point presentation that coincides with the book material\, activities\, and practice quizzes. It covers all aspects of food safety from: the definitions and causes of foodborne illness\, HACCP and the flow of food\, safety and sanitation\, etc. \n\n \n\nDate\, Time\, & Location: \n\nDate/Time: Wednesday\, May 1st from 8:00 AM   4:00 PM.\n\n*A 30 minute lunch break will be given.\n\nLocation: NCCC Ticonderoga Campus\n\n*Use front entrance of NCCC Ticonderoga Campus. \n\n \n\nDeadline To RSVP & Pay Registration Fee: Space Is Limited!\n\nTuesday\, April 16th\, 2019\n\nMinimum Number of Participants Required: 15\n\nMaximum Number of Participants Allowed: 25\n\n \n\nCost of Training: \n\n$60.70 \n\n*Checks should be made out to NCCC but send to the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce. \n\n*The fee above includes the training\, all materials\, books\, testing\, etc. \n\n \n\nNorth Country Community College in cooperation with Susan Alexander\, ServeSafe Trainer\, and the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce are participating in a State University of New York workforce development program offered through community colleges.\n\nTo participate in this reduced cost program\, participants must be employed\; each employer must be willing to pay for the participant's time at the training\; the employer must provide a CHECK MUST BE MADE PAYABLE TO NCCC in the amount of above by Tuesday\, April 16th\, 2019.
