DESCRIPTION:Fort Ticonderoga will host a book reading by local children's book author Shaundra Bartlett Lerman onFriday\, June 21 at 1 pm in the Log House Welcome Center. A book signing will follow. \n\n \nAs part of her 'Bartlettberry Briar' book series\, Shaundra will be reading A Feather for Dill. Illustrated in watercolor and ink\, this series aims to instill values of kindness\, compassion\, and integrity in children.\n\n \n\nThis reading is included in general admission and free to Fort Ticonderoga Members and Ticonderoga Ambassador Passholders. \n \n\nAbout the Author:\n\nShaundra was a fifer in the Fort Ticonderoga fife and drum for five seasons. She fondly remembers those years as the best summers of her life and continues to play her fife often\, the songs having made an indelible imprint on her mind and heart.
